They're a big responsibility.

Cute. I like how you made a whole story out of it by making it into a comic.

Great little story! For some reason, made me think of Temeraire and what would happen to all the dragons after the war (although I know what would happen, they'd just be kept in reserve for the next war, but meh =p). Great stuff!

Thanks a lot for the comment. :)

Who or what is Temeraire?

'Temeraire' is an excellent book (now a series of books) by Naomi Novik about an alternate history where dragons are used to fight in the Napoleonic Wars. It's essentially Sharpe meets ... er ... something with dragons in =p The main dragon character (Temeraire, in case you hadn't guessed) is incredibly endearing :)

Awesome. Sounds really cool.

I once saw a comic where dragons were used to fight in WWI.

Actually, I can't think of a historical period that wouldn't be made cooler by adding dragons. Okay, maybe the Victorian era, because that already has enough going for it. Oh, and the Baroque era's too crowded, not to mention the tripping hazards among the Rococo set. :)
