Medusa's House by CaptainQuirk Medusa's House by CaptainQuirk
Another setting from the Monsterville game. Making backgrounds is SO FREAKING HARD!

Medusa's got nice digs. =)
And I like that you made the tree transparent, because it can seem to look that way. Its like when tons of hair is in your face, but you can still see. That effect is certainly reasonable. Nice autumn colors, btw. =) Still really excited.

Sometimes, I wish trees in real life had that quality to them. Where I live, there are a lot of decorative bushes on streetcorners (cuz I live in the fancy shmancy suburbs) and it is so scary to drive because you can't see what's around the corner when you turn.

Down town where I went to high school is like that, too! There are places where its really scary to turn for about the first month of Sprummer, then the town finally cuts it back.

Sprummer. Actually, it kind of feels that way, doesn't it? (Never heard the word before, but I get you).

I always thought we should call December-January a different season than February-March. They are different kinds of winter.

yeah!! It felt weird to call something spring that was still bitter cold and muddy, but it isn't really winter, either..

i like it. i think it's the angle that attracts me. it's... right. why is the tree partly transparent?

It's an effect I tried to create to make it look like the leaves are there but not a solid block. I guess it didn't work.

transparency is different than uncontinuous. should have made a single small leaf and then copied it all over leaving small clear spaces... that's what it's really like right?
