My disease has no name
No coloured ribbon
No awareness month nor special day

When people say
"this goes out to anyone who needs a friend,"
I know they mean anyone but me

I'm not one of them
And therefore their enemy

And all I can do
Is wait for the day
When "everyone" means everyone
Or
At least
Until I get my ribbon
meh

were you just speaking generally about exclusion, or did you have an actual disease in mind? just curious.

kind of blurring the lines a little. It's a mixture of feelings, some regarding the hypocrisies I've witnessed from supposedly "supportive" people, and some about certain disadvantages being more "popular" than others.
