(music, music, music) The high school arched over the horizon like a pastel European castle. Actually, that's not too inaccurate, seeing as the pink and purple building was doubtlessly designed to resemble a European castle. Atmosphere, you know. Among the lovely scenery were decorative fountains, abundant rose gardens, classical marble statues, and picturesque colonnades. Rant From An Angry Fat ChickI was at the movies yesterday and a trailer came on for the newest pathetic excuse for comedy. Unless two hours of fat jokes is your thing, I don't recommend seeing it. Granted, I haven't seen it myself, and I don't intend to, but if the trailer was that misleading then it wasn't a very good trailer.The plot is: a skinny girl dies in a car crash (funny, right?) and comes back to earth as a fat girl. Rather than being happy to have a second lease on life, she's devastated because she's (eww!) fat. And then she has to get used to being treated like a lesser person because she no longer fits society's standard of beauty (again, funny, right?)Like I said, I'm not going to see it.Are we really at the point where that's how we see ourselves?
